Plastic
The basis for the production of plastics is usually petroleum. In the packaging sector, PE, PP, PET, and PS are most commonly used. Additionally, bioplastics, which are made from renewable raw materials, are increasingly being used. The term "bioplastic" refers to a group of materials that are either bio-based, biodegradable, or both.
