All our Hangiris are made from pine wood, known for its resistance to water and its durability. How to properly clean your Hangiri wooden tubAfter using your Hangiri, simply rinse the wooden tub thoroughly with clear water, preferably without using detergent. Avoid other chemicals or soap as well. Remaining rice residues can be removed with a brush. It is also important that the Hangiri is not exposed to water for too long while rinsing and that it does not remain damp for extended periods. This can lead to mold growth and wood peeling.
Dry the Hangiri with a cotton cloth after rinsing and let the tub dry in a shaded area with good air circulation. The Hangiri should not be exposed directly to sunlight.
